Senior Video Streaming Developer

We are on the lookout for a skilled and innovative Video Streaming Software Developer to join our passionate team. As a Senior Video Streaming Developer at Syncbak, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge video streaming solutions. If you have a strong background in video encoding, transcoding, and streaming technologies, and you’re excited about shaping the future of online video, we want to hear from you.

You will work with an extremely talented and accomplished team in the live video streaming space. You will gain in-depth knowledge on multiple and highly scalable, end-to-end live streaming platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Software Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN)
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
• Experience with database design and management
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Required Capabilities:

• 7+ years of development experience
• 3+ years of experience of developing and deploying microservices
• Ability to mentor junior developers
• An interest in helping us grow our engineering practices
• Willingness to share ideas and be receptive to others ideas
