New Basketball Programming to Debut June 17th
VUit, (pronounced “view it”), a free, ad-supported national streaming service aiming to be the “Netflix of Live, Local, and Free,” and the ACC Digital Network announced today plans to greatly expand the recently launched ACCDN Confidential channel, which was the top viewed channel on VUit in May reaching viewers in 195 markets, with a wide range of ACC basketball content. Starting June 17th, the 24/7 channel shining the spotlight on the renowned Atlantic Coast Conference, will debut a wide range of basketball content. Leading the way will be dedicated 2020/21 season-in-review packages for each conference team, as well as highlight reels for the conference’s top stars in advance of the July NBA Draft.
This past season was a season like no other as teams played against the backdrop of a pandemic. But that adversity didn’t stop the amazing action in this highly competitive conference that saw its share of buzzer beaters, upsets, and jaw-dropping plays. Each team will get their own dedicated season highlight show taking fans from the season’s tip-off through to the surprising run to the conference championship by Georgia Tech. ACCDN Confidential will also take fans on the court with the Conference stars that will be among the most buzzed about leading up to the July 2021 NBA draft. Best of 2020 highlight packages will be released for such Conference standouts as Duke’s Jalen Johnson, Matthew Hurt, and D.J.
